Well Hello 2018!

Gosh, well the festive break sure did go zig zag fast (as my small person would say.) It feels like I sat down 2 mins ago to enjoy a well earned glass of mulled wine & somebody hit the fast forward button & here we are in January.

I spotted these beautiful patterns & textures at Wembury Beach during a family walk on New Year's Eve.

I'm so glad I managed to properly down tools over the Christmas break so I could fully enjoy some quality time with family & friends (and also catch up on telly - don't forget the telly!) Now my attention is turning back to work & I feel genuinely refreshed & excited to get back into the studio.

The wild weather kept us indoors for a lot of the time, except on NYE when we blew away all the cobwebs with a cheeky visit to Wembury Beach - I've never seen such big waves in the UK, it was amazing.

I'm finding that lots of ideas that have been quietly brewing away in my mind for the last few months are now coming to the forefront & I'm feeling really positive about the direction I've got planned for this year. I'll be spending quite a bit of time working on new designs over the next few weeks so be sure to follow my instagram for updates (I'll be back to posting my usual things next week, but hopefully with a little extra sprinkle of panache as I've been doing the fabulous Me & Orla course Gloom & Glow over the festive break.)

So that's it, I haven't anything else to update you on just now, so here's to 2018. I wish you all a Happy New Year & hope that this will be a great year for you all.
